Motion to Approve the 2025 Rules Committee Meeting Schedule

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Rules Committee review and approve the 2025 Rules Committee Meeting Schedule.
BACKGROUND
The City Council Member Handbook, adopted by Resolution No. 2024-059, requires Council Committees to adopt an annual meeting schedule.
The Rules Committee currently meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m., with the exception of August, during which no meetings are held. Proposed meeting dates for 2025 are below:
• January 22, 2025
• February 26, 2025
• March 26, 2025
• April 23, 2025
• May 28, 2025
• June 25, 2025
• July 23, 2025
• September 24, 2025
• October 22, 2025
• November 26, 2025
• December 17, 2025
No conflicts with official City holidays have been identified for the 2025 meeting dates.
