Council to make a motion to appoint Councilmember James Aguilar to the Facilities and Transportation Committee.
BACKGROUND
Councilmember Fred Simon agreed to serve on the City Council Facilities and Transportation Committee, in addition to his appointment to the Rules Committee, to ensure continuity of service while the District 2 City Council seat was vacant. With the appointment of Councilmember James Aguilar to the District 2 City Council office, Councilmember Simon’s temporary service on the Facilities and Transportation Committee will conclude upon the Council’s appointment of a replacement.
