Resolution Approving Budget Amendment Adjusting Revenue and Expenditure Appropriations Necessary from State Actions Eliminating the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on the best revenue and expenditure information available at the times of budget preparation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the current City and Redevelopment Agency budgets on June 6, 2011, and
WHEREAS, with the passage of Assembly Bill X1 26, the dissolution of all redevelopment agencies in California is mandated, and
WHEREAS, Section 1 of AB X1 26 includes provisions that require revenue and expenditure appropriations adjustments related to tax increment, successor agencies making payments, and the winding down of affairs of the redevelopment agencies.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the budget amendment adjusting the revenue and expenditure appropriations necessary from state actions eliminating the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency in accordance with the report Recommended Budget Adjustment - Detail 2011-12 is hereby approved.
