SUMMARY

The Public Works Department coordinates the acquisition of new and replacement vehicles and equipment for the City's fleet and supporting maintenance operations. Vehicles and equipment that have reached the end of their useful life, in accordance with the City's vehicle replacement policy, are designated for public auction. The items listed herein meet these criteria, and staff seek City Council approval to proceed with their sale at public auction.

Staff recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution to approve and authorize the City Manager or her designee to declare eighteen (18) vehicles along with other miscellaneous pieces of equipment and items as surplus and authorize the sale of said surplus assets at public auction.

There are eighteen (18) vehicles along with other miscellaneous pieces of equipment and items ready for sale by public auction.
