 Title

RESOLUTION Declaring Sixteen (16) Vehicles as Surplus and Authorizing the Sale Thereof at Public Auction (approves the public auction for the surplus of said vehicles and equipment).

 

Body

WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City’s Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City purposes; and

 

WHEREAS, sixteen (16) vehicles have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus and sold at auction; and

 

WHEREAS, the San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified School Districts have been contacted and San Leandro Unified School District has purchased two vehicles.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of sixteen (16) vehicles at public auction by U.S. Auctions is scheduled for Friday April 7, 2017.
