Title

RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to  Approve Amendment No. 1 to an Existing Consulting Services Agreement with RCraneCX for LEED Commissioning Services, to Increase the Amount of Compensation by $17,600 for a Total not to Exceed Amount of $65,100 for the Farrelly Pool Replacement, Project No. 2018.3420; and to Authorize the Extension of the Contract Term from March 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 (Provides for commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems as required for LEED certification, photovoltaic system, and building automation system integration)

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, an agreement dated July 31, 2019, exists between the City of San Leandro and RCraneCX; and

 

WHEREAS, a contract amendment is required to compensate for an increase in the scope of the work for the commissioning of the Farrelly Pool Replacement project in the amount of $17,600; and

 

WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the agreement, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreement.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That said Amendment No. 1 substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and

 

2.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney; and

 

3.                     That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
