RESOLUTION to Increase the Maximum Contract Change Order Percentage from 25% to 40% (from $64,623 to $103,396, an increase of $38,773) for Purchase Order No. 55997 with WRECO for Design Services Related to the Annual Overlay / Rehabilitation 2016-17 Project, Project No. 2017.0050

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro did on November 7, 2016 award a $258,490 contract for design services to WRECO by Resolution No. 2017-122 for the Annual Overlay / Rehabilitation 2016-17 project, Project No. 2017.0050; and

 

WHEREAS, the City desires to expand the scope of the project to include the design of sidewalk bulb outs as well other safety improvements for pedestrians and vehicles.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $103,396, which is 40% of the original contract amount of $258,490.
