SUMMARY

Resolution doubling previously authorized rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individual(s) involved in unsolved homicides.

RECOMMENDATIONS

It is recommended the City Council approve the following rewards:

* $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in the October 9, 2010, double homicides of Maurius Robinson and Kwame Nunn;

* $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in the March 22, 2013, homicide of Delun "Allan" Pan;

* $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in the December 14, 2014, homicide of Joel Ramirez

BACKGROUND

On October 9, 2010, Maurius Robinson and Kwame Nunn were attending a party at the Monarch Bay Golf Course when they were both shot and killed.

On November 1, 2010, the City Council authorized a reward of $10,000 for the apprehension of any individual(s) involved in the homicide.

As of November 25, 2024, no one has met the requirements to receive the $10,000 reward and the homicides remain unsolved.

On March 22, 2013, Delun "Allan" Pan, was shot and killed in front of his mother-in-law's home in the 15500 block of Harbor Way.

On March 25, 2013, the City Council authorized a reward of $10,000 for the apprehension of any individual(s) involved in the homicide.
As of November 25, 2024, no one has met the requirements to receive the $10,000 reward and the homicide remains unsolved.
