SUMMARY
The City of San Leandro has been awarded $35,000 in grant funding from the National Fitness Campaign (NFC) to support the installation of a free, publicly accessible outdoor Fitness Court at Marina Park. The project will expand outdoor fitness opportunities, activate a highly used community park, and promote community health and wellness.
Staff recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution to accept and appropriate $35,000 in NFC grant funding, and appropriate $325,000 in Park In-Lieu Fees to fund remaining project costs. Approval of this action will confirm funding availability, authorize the City to proceed with project implementation, and satisfy NFC funding confirmation requirements.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution to:

2. Appropriate $325,000 of Park In-Lieu Fees for the remaining Fitness Court project costs; and
3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all related agreements and documents necessary to proceed with project implementation.
