RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the City Council approve extending the term of the lease of City property with the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro for 30 years, and authorize the City Manager to execute all documents to that effect, subject to the approval of the City Attorney of the amendment as to form.

Extending the term of the lease will allow the BGCSL to raise money and awareness to upgrade its facilities, meet current needs, and scale to increase services.
