RESOLUTION Approving Consulting Services Agreement with Mark Thomas and Company, Inc. for Design of the Marina Boulevard Streetscape Concepts Project, Project No. 2012.0130 in the Amount of $291,326 to Be Funded by General Funds

Body

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Mark Thomas and Company, Inc. a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and

That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual change orders up to a maximum of $29,132, which is 10% of the original contract amount, each; and

That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $72,831, which is 25% of the original contract amount.
