SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS

 

City Staff submitted a grant application for California Transportation Commission’s 2026 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for the Dutton Roadway Reconstruction project. As a condition of the grant, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Complete Streets Checklist for the project must be reviewed by the local Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission.

 

The Dutton Avenue Roadway Reconstruction project proposes to repave Dutton Avenue from Bancroft Avene to 100 feet east of East 14th Street. The project will improve the road pavement condition, reduce the roadway crown, and improve uncontrolled pedestrian crossings.
