ADOPT: Ordinance No. 2012-007, an Ordinance Amending Section 2-2-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Business License Fees and Their Annual Adjustment to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) (increases business license tax by CPI of 2.6%)

The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 2, Title 2, Section 2-2-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is amended to reflect a 2.6% annual CPI adjustment and to read as follows:
“2-2-500 FEES BASED ON NATURE OF BUSINESS
Every person commencing or carrying on a business within this City shall pay a license fee in an amount determined by the Finance Director in accordance with the nature of the business as hereinafter set forth:
