RESOLUTION Approving an Increase in Project Costs from $554,463.00 to $689,414.00 (an Increase of $134,951.00, or 24.3%) for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Program 2014-15; Project No. 2015.0060 (provides for an increase in total expenditures to the subject project for the construction of curb ramps in support of the Annual Street Sealing Project 2014-15. Costs to be paid for from the Annual Street Sealing 2014-15 budgeted funds)

WHEREAS, on October 3, 2014, by Resolution No. 2014-117, the City of San Leandro awarded a construction contract to AJW Construction for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Program 2014-15; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro authorized increasing the Change Order cap to over 25%; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro authorized a total expenditure cap of $554,463.00; and
WHEREAS, the work to complete the project will exceed the expenditure cap; and
WHEREAS, the project’s budget is sufficient to accommodate the increased expenditure cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to increase the expenditure limit for the subject project to $689,414.00.
