SUMMARY

Calcon Systems, Inc. provides on-call electrical, calibration and instrumentation services for the City’s Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). The proposed first amendment to the agreement with Calcon provides for additional preventative and corrective maintenance for the standby generator.

Working with Calcon, City staff have secured a proposal from Eaton, manufacturer of the breakers, to perform additional testing and diagnosis. In addition, Eaton will do preventative maintenance on all the large feeder breakers.

With the predicted wet weather associated with the 2026-2027 El Niño weather event, staff recommend proceeding with this work as qui...
