SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that the City Council approve a resolution to enter into nine (9) grant agreements with the following nonprofit public service providers:
* Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center (CALICO) ($47,789);
* Davis Street Family Resource Center ($89,481);
* Service Opportunities for Seniors (SOS), Inc. /Meals on Wheels ($60,040);
* Spectrum Community Services (Senior Nutrition Program) ($43,127);
* Building Futures for Women and Children for $25,000;
* Family Violence Law Center for $25,000;
* La Clinica de la Raza for $100,000;
* Asian Health Services for $100,000; and
* Eden Council for Hope & Opportunity Housing for fair housing services (ECHO Housing) ($10,000);
These CDBG projects noted in the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD Annual Action Plan were approved by the City Council on June 15, 2020 under the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Annual Action Plan.
BACKGROUND
