SUMMARY
Pursuant to City of San Leandro Charter Section 305(h) Mayor Gonz?lez filed a Notice of Suspension of the vote taken at the December 1, 2025 City Council meeting to adopt a resolution to approve and authorize the City Manager, in coordination with the City Attorney, to execute a limited waiver of the attorney-client privilege for the purpose of releasing the June 2024 revenue measure tracking survey results. In accordance with the City Charter, the item is submitted for possible reconsideration by the Council.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Per San Leandro Charter Section 305(h):
1. Vote on the Mayor's Motion to Reconsider; and
2. If the Motion to Reconsider passes, City Council to reconsider adoption of a resolution to approve and authorize the City Manager, in coordination with the City Attorney, to execute a limited waiver of the attorney-client privilege for the purpose of releasing the June 2024 revenue measure tracking survey results
BACKGROUND
On December 1, 2025, the City Council considered a resolution to approve and authorize the City Manager, in coordination with the City Attorney, to execute a limited waiver of the attorney-client privilege for the purpose of releasing the June 2024 revenue measure tracking survey results.
It was moved by Councilmember Viveros-Walton, seconded by Councilmember Boldt, to approve and authorize the City Manager, in coordination with the City Attorney, to execute a limited waiver of the attorney-client privilege for the purpose of releasing the June 2024 revenue measure tracking survey results. The motion failed by the following vote:
