RESOLUTION Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into an Amendment to Legal Services Agreement with Jarvis, Fay, Doporto, and Gibson, LLP for Legal Representation Associated with the Ilmberger et al. v. City of San Leandro Litigation (approves amendment for an amount not to exceed $110,000 from the Self-Insurance Fund)

WHEREAS, the City in accordance with its purchasing provisions has identified Jarvis, Fay, Doporto, and Gibson, LLP to continue to provide legal representation associated with the Ilmberger et al. v. City of San Leandro case; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an amendment to the agreement with Jarvis, Fay, Doporto, and Gibson, LLP for said work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of the agreement amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That said amendment to the agreement in an amount not to exceed $110,000.00 is hereby approved; and
2. That the terms of the agreement will be memorialized in writing by the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and
3. That the City Manager is authorized to execute said agreement amendment; and
4. That an original executed agreement amendment shall be provided to the City Clerk, shall be attached, and made a part of this resolution.
