ADOPT:  Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with Safe Moves Relating to Conducting San Leandro K-8th Schools Traffic Safety Education Program, Project No. 150-38-338 (approves agreement in the amount of $375,000)

Body

WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has been awarded a $410,000 Safe Routes To School (SRTS) Program grant for a Traffic Safety Education Program in San Leandro K-8th Public Schools; and

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Safe Moves, a copy of which is attached hereto, has been presented to this Council; and

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

WHEREAS, The City Manager has recommended the approval of said document.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
