Resolution of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve Amendment No. 1 for each of the Existing Consultant Services Agreements with DKS Associates, Fehr & Peers, and W-Trans for On-Call Transportation Engineering Consulting Services (Provides for Amending Three Agreements in an Amount Not-to-Exceed $200,000 for Two Years per Agreement, for a Total of $600,000 for All Three Agreements)

WHEREAS, agreements dated May 15, 2017 exist between the City of San Leandro and DKS Associates, Fehr & Peers, and W-Trans for On-Call Transportation Engineering Consulting Services; and
WHEREAS, a contract amendment is required to extend the on-call transportation engineering support services with updated fee schedules for additional two years; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to each of the agreements, copies of which are attached and incorporated herein, are presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, a blanket purchase order will be requested for each individual consulting firm as tasks are assigned. Consultant costs will be charged to specific projects, each with a designated appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreements to update fee schedules and extend the term from June 30, 2020 to June 30, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said amendments to the agreements are approved, that each agreements’ not to exceed amount is $100,000 within each 12-month period with updated fee schedules, for an additional two years with each firm, and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
