RESOLUTION Amending the Non-Represented Part-Time Salary Schedule to Comply with the California Minimum Wage Order

Body

WHEREAS, the State of California issued minimum Wage Order 2014 increasing the minimum wage from $9.00 to $10.00 effective January 1, 2016; and

WHEREAS the City’s classifications of Recreation Leader I, Office Assistant I, Community Crossing Guard, and Maintenance Assistant I will be moved from range 21 ($9.37-$11.38) to range 24 ($10.07-$12.25); and

WHEREAS salary ranges 19-23 will be eliminated, which includes elimination of the Recreation Leader Aide classification.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

That the City of San Leandro hereby amends the Non-Represented Part-Time Salary Schedule to be in compliance with the state minimum wage effective January 1, 2016, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
