Council to make a motion to appoint Councilmember Fred Simon to the Facilities and Transportation Committee
BACKGROUND
A vacancy currently exists on the City Council Facilities and Transportation Committee following the departure of Councilmember Bryan Azevedo. To ensure continuity of service while the District 2 City Council seat remains vacant, Councilmember Fred Simon has agreed to serve on the Facilities and Transportation Committee in addition to his existing appointment to the Rules Committee. Councilmember Simon has indicated that he will resign from the Facilities and Transportation Committee once the District 2 vacancy has been filled.
