RESOLUTION Approving a Contractual Services Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and The Planning Center | DC&E to Prepare the General Plan Update, Housing Element Update and Environmental Impact Report (provides services for an amount not to exceed $690,668)

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and The Planning Center | DC&E, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1) Approve the appropriation of $39,560 from the 2013-14 General Fund unrestricted reserves to pay for the part of this consulting services agreement related to the preparation of a Qualified Greenhouse Gas Reduction Strategy based upon the City's adopted Climate Action Plan;
2) Approve said consulting services agreement with The Planning Center | DC&E for an amount not to exceed $690,668, and authorize execution by the City Manager.
