RESOLUTION Approving the $49,000 Abandoned Watercraft Abatement Fund (AWAF) Grant Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways for Abatement of Abandoned Watercraft Subject to Lien at the San Leandro Marina and the San Leandro Shoreline (approves grant agreement for $49,000 for abatement of abandoned watercraft, and a $49,000 appropriation from the Shoreline Fund)

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
An appropriation by the City Council for $49,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been established and will be replenished by grant proceeds.
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
