Resolution Removing Carmen Fewless as District 6 Member to the Human Services Commission

WHEREAS, Carmen Fewless was appointed as the District 6 Member to the Human Services Commission on June 6, 2005; reappointed on February 17, 2009; and reappointed again on February 14, 2013, by Resolution No. 2013-011, with a term expiring on December 31, 2016; and
WHEREAS, San Leandro Municipal Code section 1-3-105 gives the Council the authority to remove a Board or Commission member without cause, notice, or hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That Carmen Fewless is hereby removed from the Human Services Commission, effective immediately; and
That this Council thanks Ms. Fewless for her service on the Human Services Commission, and extends its gratitude for her civic contributions.
