Staffreport
INTRODUCTION

This is an informational report only and no Planning Commission action is required.

As the City of San Leandro works through the process of updating its General Plan, it is appropriate for the Planning Commission to review both the current state of the San Leandro economy and ongoing efforts to advance economic development. At the previous meeting on February 19, the Planning Commission held a study session to review findings on the San Leandro economy presented by Strategic Economics, one of the sub-consultants working on the General Plan.

This report will provide an update on ongoing and planned economic development activities conducted by the Community Development Department. The intent of this presentation is to provide additional context for the Planning Commission that may be helpful for the development of the General Plan update.
