SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends that the City Council approve the resolution authorizing acquisition of a replacement pumper fire truck. The resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute the purchase agreement and other documents necessary to finance the acquisition.

Currently, the apparatus in City service includes five engines and two trucks. The 2015-16 Fire Service Budget approved by the City Council included the replacement of a pumper truck based at Station 12.
