RESOLUTION Approving Publicly Available Pay Schedules as Required by California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Section 570.5 for the Assistant City Manager and Police Chief

WHEREAS, California Code of Regulations, Title 2, section 570.5, requires CalPERS member agencies to have duly approved and adopted publicly available pay schedules; and
WHEREAS, the pay schedules must meet the following criteria: position title for the employee positions, pay rate for the positions, and time bases for the pay rate positions; and
WHEREAS, this regulation requires this criteria be contained in a single Council approved document; and
WHEREAS, the attached pay schedules meet the above requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved employment agreements for the Assistant City Manager and Police Chief on December 12, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Assistant City Manager and Police Chief received salary increases on June 1, 2015 and January 1, 2016 in accordance with the terms of their employment agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the Assistant City Manager and Police Chief salary schedules, attached hereto, are hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the attached Exhibits are part of this resolution.
