RESOLUTION Approving a Consulting Services Agreement with BKF Engineers for the Preparation of Construction-Ready Plans, Specifications and Estimates for the MacArthur/Superior Traffic Circle Design Project, Project No. 2014.0470 (provides for the design of a future roundabout at the MacArthur Blvd / Superior Ave intersection. Project to be funded by $43,000.00 of Development Fee for Street Improvement Funds, $54,490.00 of General Capital Improvement Project Funds)

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and BKF Engineers, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $24,372.50, which is 25% of the original contract amount of $97,490.00.
