Resolution Removing Kyle Borton as District 3 Member to the Recreation and Parks Commission

WHEREAS, Kyle Borton was appointed as the District 3 Member to the Recreation and Parks Commission on February 26, 2015 by Resolution No. 2015-020, with a term expiring on December 31, 2018; and
WHEREAS, San Leandro Municipal Code section 1-3-105 provides that the City Council has the authority to remove a Board member or Commissioner without cause, notice, or hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That Kyle Borton is hereby removed from the Recreation and Parks Commission, effective immediately; and
That this Council thanks Mr. Borton for his service on the Recreation and Parks Commission, and extends its gratitude for his civic contributions.
