The Rules Committee reviewed updates to the City Council Handbook on November 28, 2016, February 27, 2017, and March 27, 2017.  Notable updates include merging of individual sections for consistency, the addition of Section VI, Communications, and a change in the order of the agenda to allow public comments before presentations. Meeting times and locations for Board and Commissions were also updated.  All suggested edits from the committee are complete, and the attached draft is presented for final review.

 

The committee is encouraged to review the draft thoroughly and determine if additional edits are needed. Once the committee reviews the handbook, it will be presented to the full council for final approval.
