RESOLUTION Approving a Consultant Services Agreement with Carollo Engineers, Inc. for Close-Out Consulting Services and Services not completed under the Engineering Consulting Services Agreement on the Water Pollution Control Plant Rehabilitation Project, Project 08-593-52-239, in the Amount of $375,589 to be Funded by Water Pollution Control Plant Enterprise Funds (provides for assistance to staff with the resolution of claims filed by the construction contractor related to potential and alleged delay costs, unresolved contract change orders and credit to City for work items removed from construction contract, and completion of consultant contract tasks carried over from prior contract)

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Carollo Engineers, Inc., dated July 5, 2011 expired on December 30, 2015: and
WHEREAS, it is the City of San Leandro’s desire to incorporate and complete the remaining tasks in the expired agreement into a new agreement: and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Carollo Engineers, Inc., a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said remaining tasks in the expired agreement be incorporated into the said agreement; and
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
