RESOLUTION Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a $134,000 Grant Agreement with the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for the Traffic Safety Education Programs for Youth and Older Adults; OTS Grant No. PS1715

WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro was awarded a $134,000 California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) grant for Traffic Safety Education Programs in San Leandro K-8 public schools and for older adults; and
WHEREAS, a Grant Agreement must be approved and executed to allow OTS to disburse the grant funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
