Resolution Establishing a Salary Schedule for Police Chief

WHEREAS, the previous salary schedule was specific to the terms of the former Police Chief’s employment agreement; and
WHEREAS, a new salary schedule must to be approved prior to the appointment of a new Police Chief; and
WHEREAS, the attached pay schedule meets the requirements of California Code of Regulations, Title 2, section 570.5, which requires CalPERS member agencies to have duly approved and adopted publicly available pay schedules.
NOW THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the Police Chief salary schedule, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
