RESOLUTION to Authorize the City Manager to Negotiate and Approve Individual and Cumulative Change Orders of Up to $279,927 for Additional Sidewalk and Accessibility Ramp Work with Rosas Brothers Construction for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Program 2013-14; Project No. 2014.0060 (provides for an increase in the total contract amount for the subject project for the construction of sidewalk and curb ramps in support of the Annual Street Sealing Project 2013-14)

WHEREAS, on November 8, 2013, by Resolution No. 2013-147, the City of San Leandro awarded a construction contract to Rosas Brothers Construction for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Program 2013-14, Project No. 2014.0060; and
WHEREAS, the project constructed curb ramps in support of the Annual Street Sealing Project 2013-14; and
WHEREAS, the work to complete the project will exceed the contract amount; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient allocations for the change order.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
The City Manager is authorized to negotiate and approve individual and cumulative change orders of up to $279,972 for Additional Sidewalk and Accessibility Ramp Work with Rosas Brothers Construction for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Program 2013-14 Project, Project No. 2014.0060.
