SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
SLIA Management will discuss the proposed SLIA Bocce Ball Court at Root Park and will request the Facilities & Transportation Committee recommendation on the following: 1) Design; and 2) City Funding Contribution
BACKGROUND
The proposed SLIA Bocce Ball Court at Root Park was discussed briefly with the Facilities and Transportation Committee on May 17, 2016.
Analysis
SLIA Management is proposing to construct a single ADA accessible Bocce Ball Court at Root Park along its north edge adjacent to the Toler Street parking lot. The court will reuse portions of the existing flower bed. A sketch and project estimate have been provided to aid the review and discussion of the project.
SLIA Management will discuss a request for a City contribution to the construction of the Bocce Ball Court.
