RESOLUTION to Approve Recommendations from the Human Services Commission for 2017-18 Community Assistance Program (CAP) Grant Recipients
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of our health and human services community-based organizations in creating a safety net for our most vulnerable populations;
WHEREAS, the City Council supports the effort to address the following areas: mental health, hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro;
WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis (2017).
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
The City Manager is authorized to enter into Community Assistance Program Grant agreements for 2017-18 with the Recipients approved by City Council for a total amount of $150,000 in account 010-61-014-8513 in the 2017-18 adopted budget.
