SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends approval of a Non-Professional Services Agreement (NPSA) for the Citywide Re-Striping Project, in an amount not-to-exceed $56,000.
BACKGROUND
Citywide re-striping work is bid out approximately every other year, and includes the painting of double-yellow, broken yellow and white lines typical of City streets. This project was bid out (Bid 16-17.027), with the City receiving two bids. Chrisp Company was the low bidder, coming in approximately 28% lower than the other bid.
Fiscal Impacts and Budget Authority
This work, which is performed by an outside contractor, is an existing budgeted line item in the Public Works Gas Tax Fund (140-31-056). Adequate funds are in place for completion of this project.
