SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This is a staff update to the Facilities and Transportation Committee on the plans and schedule for the Main Library and Marina Community Center (MCC) Audio Video (AV) Equipment Project. The consultant, Media Support Associates, is currently updating the design for the final pre-bid review submittal after receiving comments from staff.
BACKGROUND
The Main Library and MCC AV Equipment Project will upgrade the audio-visual equipment within the Karp/ Estudillo Meeting room and the Carnegie Lecture Hall at the Main Library and the Titan Auditorium in the Marina Community Center. The scope of work for the project includes the incorporation of video cameras, and recording capabilities to allow the broadcast of events on the City’s cable channel.
