RESOLUTION Approving a Consulting Services Agreement with Cal Engineering and Geology for the Lake Chabot Road Stabilization, Project 2009.0030 (provides for the engineering design to stabilize Lake Chabot Road)

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Cal Engineering and Geology for $205,458.00, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual change orders up to a maximum of $20,545, which is 10% of the original contract amount, each; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $41,092, which is 20% of the original contract amount, for a total not to exceed $246,550.00.
