RESOLUTION to Approve a Consulting Services Agreement with Wood Rodgers, Inc. for the Neptune Drive Flood Protection, Project 2016.0700 (provides for engineering and design services for a project to reduce flood risk near Neptune Drive)

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Wood Rodgers, Inc. for $324,725, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual change orders up to a maximum of $32,472, which is 10% of the original contract amount; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $64,945, which is 20% of the original contract amount, for a total not to exceed amount of $389,670.
