RESOLUTION Adopting the City of San Leandro 2017 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency requires local jurisdictions to update their Local Hazard Mitigation Plans every five years in order to be eligible for disaster mitigation and assistance funding; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro 2017 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the City of San Leandro 2017 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby adopted subject to certain minor amendments as recommended by the City Manager in consultation with the City Attorney.
