RESOLUTION to Approve a Consulting Services Agreement with Glass Architects in an Amount not to exceed $306,310 for the Preparation of Construction-Ready Plans, Specifications and Estimates for Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool, Project No. 2018.0170; Authorizing the City Manager to Negotiate and Approve Individual Change Orders up to 10% (or $30,631) and Cumulative Change Orders up to 25% (or $76,578) of the Original Contract Amount; and Amend the City of San Leandro Budget for the Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool and Farrelly Pool Replacement Projects

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Glass Architects, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2017-18 and 2018-19 biennial budget on June 5, 2017 by Resolution No. 17-236; and
WHEREAS the City Manager recommends approval of funding transfers between fiscal years for the Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool and Farrelly Pool Replacement; and
WHEREAS, the requested transfers are budget neutral over two years with respect to the total amount of money budgeted each year and will not impact the project schedule for the Farrelly Pool Replacement; and
WHEREAS, the requested funding transfers will allow the Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool project to commence in Fiscal Year 2017-18 rather than Fiscal Year 2018-19.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That said agreement is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed $306,310 and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
