RESOLUTION to Authorize the City Manager to Execute Program Supplement Agreement No. 027-F with the State of California to Provide $59,850 in Grant Funds for the Design Phase of the East 14th Street (State Route 185) at Joaquin Avenue Scramble Pedestrian Signal Project

 

Body

WHEREAS, an Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects No. 04-5041F15 was entered into between the City of San Leandro and the State of California on June 19, 2017; and

 

WHEREAS, the City was awarded a $335,250 Highway Safety Improvement Program Grant but must first execute Program Supplement Agreement No. 027-F to receive the funds; and

 

WHEREAS, Program Supplement Agreement No. 027-F, which amends Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Project No. 04-5041F15, has been presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That said Program Supplement Agreement No. 027-F, which amends Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects No. 04-5041F15, substantially in the form presented is hereby approved, and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and

 

2.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and

 

3.                     That the original executed agreement, as amended, shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution; and

 

4.                     That $6,650 in local matching funds from Measure B Bicycle and Pedestrian Funds, as appropriated in Fiscal Year 2017-18 from Account 144-38-396, be authorized for expenditure.
