RESOLUTION Authorizing 2017-18 Budget Transfers in the Total Amount of $27,000 for Purchase of a New Transit Connect XL Van
Body
WHEREAS, the Public Works Traffic/Electric Section desires a dedicated vehicle for Underground Service Alert (USA) markings; and
WHEREAS, staff has been utilizing a pick-up truck that was due to go to auction last fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, a competitive bid will be held for the purchase of the vehicle; and
WHEREAS, this purchase is a net new vehicle and funds are required to complete the purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That 2017-18 budget transfers in the amount of $13,500 from 010-31-003-5310 and $13,500 from 010-31-003-6105 to the Equipment Maintenance Fund 690-16-002-7510 is authorized; and
2. That the expenditure of these funds to complete the purchase of a Transit Van XL vehicle for Public Works Traffic/Electric staff is approved.
