RESOLUTION of the City Council for the City of San Leandro to Approve the City of San Leandro Human Services Commission’s Recommendations for the Community Assistance Program (CAP) Grants for 2018-19
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City’s health and human services community-based organizations in creating a safety net for the City’s most vulnerable populations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council supports efforts to address the following areas: mental health, hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro; and
WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis (2017).
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements for 2018-19 with the Recipients identified in the associated staff report, as recommended by the Human Services Commission to the City Council, for a total amount of $150,000 in account 010-61-014-8513 in the 2018-19 adopted budget.
