A Resolution of the City Council for the City of San Leandro to Ratify the Animal Shelter Service Agreement between the City of San Leandro and the City of Fremont’s Tri-City Shelter

WHEREAS, the Police Department provides quality Animal Control Services to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fremont is committed to providing the most cost-effective choice for animal sheltering; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fremont drafted a new service agreement to include all Tri-City Shelter contracting agencies on the same cost-recovery model; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That said Animal Shelter Service Agreement is ratified and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
2. That an original executed Agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
