RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve a $170,000 Surrendered and Abandoned Vessel Exchange (SAVE-18) Grant Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways for Abatement of Surrendered and Abandoned Watercraft at the San Leandro Marina and the San Leandro Shoreline.

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
The grant is accepted; and
An Appropriation of $170,000 from the Shoreline Fund (account 597-57-177-5890) shall be established to be replenished by grant proceeds from account 597-3607; and
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
