2.A. 18-358 Staff Update on Street Repair and Crosswalk Projects and Project Funding

City Engineer Nick Thom presented an update on Street Sealing 2017-18, Overlay and Rehabilitation 2016-17 Phase 2, Overlay and Rehabilitation 2017-18 and Pedestrian Crossings 2016-17 Phase 1 projects that will be awarded for construction at the July 16 City Council meeting.

Committee Requests/Direction to Staff:
The Committee recommends research into alternatives to the traffic delineators at the San Leandro/Best/Park intersection such as flower boxes or more aesthetically appealing traffic calming solutions.
Council Member Lopez requested a list of streets scheduled for repair.

2.B. 18-359 Staff Update on Capital Improvement Projects
Engineering and Transportation Director Keith Cooke opened the floor for questions and discussion regarding ongoing capital improvement projects.
