RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council Declaring Fourteen (14) Vehicles, Twelve (12) Pieces of Equipment, and Other Miscellaneous Items as Surplus and Authorizing the Sale Thereof at Public Auction (approves the public auction for the surplus of said vehicles and equipment).

WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City’s Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City purposes; and
WHEREAS, Fourteen (14) Vehicles, Twelve (12) Pieces of Equipment, and Other Miscellaneous Items have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus and sold at auction; and
WHEREAS, the San Leandro Unified School District has been contacted and there is no interest in purchasing any of the vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of Fourteen (14) Vehicles, Twelve (12) Pieces of Equipment, and Other Miscellaneous Items at public auction by U.S. Auctions is scheduled for Friday November 2, 2018.
